GLP-1

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are in a class of medication called GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide) that have been used for diabetes treatment for many years. It was found that they also helped countless individuals achieve incredible weight loss results. Both semaglutide and tirzepatide are administered weekly and can be provided at our office or shipped to your home. While these medications operate slightly differently, they both target appetite and craving control by interacting with specific brain receptors.

 Advantages of GLP-1 injections include:

  • Weekly injections are quick and easy
  • Managing weight is efficient and reliable
  • No downtime - no need for bariatric surgery
  • Lower cholesterol, blood pressure, heart disease and stroke risk

During your consultation, we'll discuss the unique aspects of each medication to determine the best fit for you. We'll continue to check on your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed throughout your program.

Typically, patients notice the most significant weight loss at the start of their plan, with an average loss of about 1–3 pounds per week. Once you reach your target weight, you’ll transition to a maintenance plan designed to help you sustain your results over time.
